Mrs. Morrissey oversees all investment decisions at the Broadmoor Group and assists with asset management responsibilities. Mrs. Morrissey began her career as a corporate auditor with McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) where she ensured compliance with established internal control procedures and regulations. In 1984, Mrs. Morrissey joined Coldwell Banker Commercial as a real estate broker where she was involved in over $70 million dollars of commercial real estate transactions. Mrs. Morrissey is also Principal at Morrissey Realty, a brokerage firm she founded in 1987. <br> <br> Mrs. Morrissey received a BS in Marketing and a MBA in Corporate Finance from St. Louis University.
Mr. Morrissey formulates the overall strategic direction for Broadmoor and oversees day-to-day business operations at the asset management level. Mr. Morrissey has eight years of experience in real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, property management, asset management, and sales. He has directly worked on over $100 million worth of real estate transactions in his career. <br> <br> Mr. Morrissey earned a BS in Finance from DePaul University in 2009 and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from Auburn University in 2018. He sits on the board of the St. Louis Apartment Association and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
Ms. Morrissey is responsible for all phases of the monthly accounting cycle, including owner and tenant statements, vendor invoicing, and trust account oversight. She also assists with leasing and property management operations. Other responsibilities include companywide human resource policies and procedures and brand engagement for the various Broadmoor Group companies. <br> <br> Ms. Morrissey received a BS in Psychology from St. Louis University and is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Mrs. LaFontaine has over 15 years of property management experience. She is responsible for day to day aspects of property management and maintenance issues. She works with all levels of the property management spectrum; from ownership, to back-office accounting, leasing, maintenance staff, and third party vendors. Her goal is to provide a full range of timely services to encourage resident retention and produce a steady flow of new prospects.
Mrs. Anderson is new to the property management industry, having started in March of 2017 but has the skillset of a 10-year veteran. With her background in accounting and bookkeeping, she ensures that all invoices from vendors are received and entered in a timely manner. She also tours prospective tenants and manages tenant relations.
Mr. Shields has 10 years of industry experience. He is responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of apartments, grounds, and common areas. Other responsibilities include training and overseeing the maintenance team while ensuring that the residents’ needs are met in a timely fashion. Jake also works with the corporate office to manage expenses, budget compliance, implement preventative maintenance schedules, and maintain inventory control.
Mr. Shelby is a 15 year industry veteran. He is responsible for making ready apartment units and running service tickets in occupied units. His diverse skillset includes HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance tasks. He also assists the maintenance supervisor with troubleshooting any maintenance issues on site and also preventative maintenance implementation.
Mr. Sanchez has ten years of industry experience. His primary focus is grounds maintenance and curb appeal. His goal is to make residents feel as if the community grounds are their own personal yard, paying meticulous attention to each blade of grass, leaf, and plant. He also ensures that all community amenities are well kept for residents to enjoy.
